A three-minute walkthrough. Alex, a first-time sales manager, fills in the Meeting review sheet on a real situation with the team, then we see what changes a week later.

WHAT IT IS FOR

Pipeline reviews turn into reading numbers aloud, without decisions

Use it when: Deals stay stuck and the weekly meeting is long.

WHAT YOU GET
A 45-minute agenda that ends with a decision and an owner for each stuck deal
A review sheet to print or fill in
A log of what was agreed for each deal
What it does not do: It covers decisions on deals. Number definitions are in Seven weekly numbers; data quality is in CRM and forecast.

Who it fits

Your weekly pipeline meeting has become a reading of numbers aloud. It runs long, people walk out without a task, and the same deals stay stuck.

The review takes 45 minutes and covers up to four chosen deals. Each one leaves the room with a decision, an owner and a due date. A team of one seller, or no CRM at all, is fine too: the guide has a section for each case.

Its subject is decisions on deals. When people count the numbers differently, start with Seven weekly numbers instead. When the CRM records themselves cannot be trusted, CRM and forecast fits better.

How to use it in the first week

Give the first chapter 15 minutes, ideally on Monday. Then test your stages. Ask two people to place the same deal in a stage and see whether their answers match.

On meeting day, sellers bring their deals an hour before the start, and you pick up to four with the selection rule from the guide.

The review sheet runs the meeting, with the minutes printed at the bottom: past decisions, the funnel snapshot, the deal review, what repeats across deals, and the decisions read aloud at the end.

Afterwards, copy every decision into the Deal action log. Next week's meeting opens with it: done, not done, or moved.
